The Channel 4 Big Art Project Artwork
The working title for the gateway new artwork to be created overlooking the busy M62 close to Junction 7 is "ex terra lucem" (out of the earth comes light). Tthe sculpture is intended as a high impact new icon and attraction for England’s Northwest, and subject to planning permission, it is scheduled to be installed and unveiled during 2008.
