Award-Winning Parks & Green Spaces
The national Green Flag Awards scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country, and St.Helens now has seven of them!
New Green Flags have been gained at Taylor Park, The Duckeries in Parr, and Downall Croft Doorstep Green in North Ashton. The existing four have ben retained at Bankes Park in Billinge, Clinkham Wood Local Nature Reserve, Sidings Lane Local Nature Reserve in Rainford, and Mesnes Park in Newton-le-Willows.
