Chris James - 2007 Enterprise Ambassador
Chris James, a pupil at Newton High School, is the Borough’s new Enterprise Ambassador of the Year.
Chris is the Managing Director of "Checkmate", Newton High School's Young Enterprise team which won the annual St.Helens and Merseyside competitions and was narrowly beaten in the North West Regional competition. Chris led the team in designing and producing innovative and environmentally friendly products such as cheeseboards and clocks made from used Magnum Champagne bottles, solitaire games, calendars and mobile phone holders.
